Did you know…
…that many of the most influential psychologists of the 20th century not only developed their own groundbreaking theories, but also interacted closely and influenced each other?
Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis, inspired Carl Jung, who initially began as Freud's student but later developed analytical psychology and challenged many of Freud's ideas. At the same time, Ivan Pavlov's research on classical conditioning influenced both John Watson's behaviorism and BF Skinner's work on operant conditioning. Jean Piaget, known for his theory of cognitive development, was influenced by the discoveries of his time, including behaviorist approaches, and supplemented them with his own observations on child development. Our hoodie celebrates these fascinating connections and the influence these pioneers had on each other. Wear it and celebrate the interconnected history of psychology!
